About the Conference

Are you interested in global health? Looking for ways to gain experience overseas? Then THET’s annual conference is the place to be!

This year keynotes will be given by Dr. Chitalu Chilufya, Minister of Health for Zambia; Dr. Catherine Calderwood, Chief Medical Officer for Scotland; and the Rt Hon Alistair Burt, Minister of State for DFID. There will be many other fantastic speakers over the two days.

Day 1 will challenge the contradictions that shape our work in global health with plenaries, keynotes and breakouts led by some of the world’s leading practitioners and researchers. Whilst Day 2 is built around abstracts, illustrating the most exciting examples of good practice that have emerged in 2017 and 2018.
