About the Author
Benjamin Dean
Orthopaedic Registrar
Ben Dean has over ten years experience as a doctor in the NHS and over this time he has developed valuable skills in using the FOIA to shine the cleansing light of transparency on specific health reforms. He has successfully appealed a case in the higher courts against the GMC relating the Shape of Training reforms of medical training. This course aims to describe why transparency is important, using specific case studies and examples, and to empower individuals to use the FOIA for themselves in fighting for more transparency in key matters of public interest.
