The HLA Alumni Dinner offers an exciting opportunity for our HLA Community to gather as we welcome the next cohort of HLA Scholars. It’s a time for alumni, faculty, and long-term supporters to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate our community’s achievements, highlighting the profound impact of the HLA Scholars Programme over the years.

As we come together before the start of the new academic year, we aim to strengthen bonds within our community. While we encourage our members to bring a +1/partner to this memorable evening, please note that seats may be limited.

Black tie is preferable. Lounge suit would be acceptable. (Religious, traditional, or formal national dress and service dress uniforms are permitted.)

How to Request a Voucher Code

If you belong to a category that qualifies for a subsidised ticket, please fill out the following form to request a voucher code and we will get back to you within 48 hours with your voucher code to purchase your ticket.

Ticket Price

A ticket to the HLA Alumni Dinner 2025 is £120.

Other subsidised tickets are available for the following categories,

1. HLA Scholars and Alumni - £5 off the ticket price.

2. HLA Post-nominal subscribers (MHLA and FHLA) - Subsidised early bird ticket at £95 if booked by the 30th of June 2025. (Please note that to qualify for this offer, your post-nominal subscription must be more than 6 months old by the time of the event date, 19th September 2025. If you become a post-nominal subscriber now, you should complete 6 months of membership by the event date to be eligible.)

3. InLet (PGCert), IL1 students and AI Programme Students - £5 off the ticket price. 

4. HLA IDEAS Organisations will receive 2 subsidised tickets for the HLA Alumni Dinner at £30 off the ticket price, and any additional tickets can be purchased at full price.

5. Cohort Directors, HLA and MA Faculty/ Staff - 100%  discount from the ticket price. 

Any additional tickets (+1 tickets) will be at full price, which is £120.

How to Purchase Tickets

To purchase your ticket, please follow the below steps,

NOTE: If you are eligible for a subsidised ticket, please make sure you have submitted your request for a voucher through the ‘Voucher Request Form’ and have received the voucher code before purchasing your ticket.

Step 1: Select the appropriate ticket option at the top of this page

• If you want to bring a guest (your +1) to the dinner, please click the ‘£240.00 (Buy Two Tickets)’ option. This allows you to pay for both yourself and your guest together.

• If you are only purchasing a ticket for yourself, click on the ‘£120.00’ option.

Step 2: Once you have selected the ticket option correctly, click on the ‘Purchase’ button

Step 3: Once you are redirected to the payment page,

• Option 1 - Enter your payment details and purchase the ticket(s)

• Option 2 - Click on ‘Have a coupon?’ to enter the voucher code you have obtained and then purchase the ticket(s)

To secure your place, please purchase your ticket and ensure you complete the registration form in the "Register Here" section of the portal once you have gained access to the portal.
